Getting Started

before you begin
 In order to download the Indexing program you must have an account with lds.org. If you are not registered:

a.) go to lds.org

b.) click register

 c.) enter your LDS account information**

 d.) continue to follow the instructions to create an account

**Please note that you will need your membership number  (which can be found on your patriarchal blessing or by asking the ward clerk) and birth date to create your account.



get started
1. Go to indexing.familysearch.org
2. Click "Get Started"



3. Click "Download Now"

Now you're ready to start indexing!!
